AFI’s major shareholder is Big Shopping Centers Ltd with c. 89.3% of AFI’s shares. The company’s operations date back to the early 1970s, when it was a division within one of Israel’s biggest real estate groups. In 1997 the company began its investments and development activity in Europe, and in 2004 AFI was listed on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
