AFI Arad

Introduction

AFI Arad opened to the public on 1st November 2023.
AFI Romania started in 2022 the construction of AFI Arad, the first retail park developed by the company in Romania. The company previously developed 3 large scale shopping centers in Bucharest, Brasov and Ploiesti. The gross leasable area (GLA) of the project is 29,400 square meters, on a single level, served by 950 parking spaces above ground level.
As a novelty for Arad, McDonald’s opened, as part of the project, its first Drive-Thru restaurant in the city, on an area of 148 square meters. Other tenants of AFI Arad retail park are Carrefour hypermarket (with a leasable area of 5,800 sqm), the DIY store Leroy Merlin (with a leasable area of 9,000 sqm) and Media Galaxy (3,000 sqm). The mix of tenants also includes international brands such as Starbucks, Half Price, CCC, Burger King, Fressnapf and many more.
