AFI Group continues to strengthen its position on the Prague rental housing market. After fully leasing apartments in all of its existing projects, the company is launching another investment – the Nová Elektra residential complex in Prague 9 – Hloubětín. The project, currently being developed by FINEP, will be acquired by AFI after final approval scheduled for December 2026 and incorporated into its rental housing portfolio under the AFI Home brand.
The structural shell of the buildings has just been completed, and the project is now entering the phase of technology installations and finishing works. Two modern residential buildings comprising four sections will offer a total of 291 rental apartments with layouts ranging from studios (1+kk) to four-room units (4+kk). Operations are scheduled to commence in the second quarter of 2027, following the completion of apartment fit-outs.
“Nová Elektra is our first project being developed by FINEP. From the very beginning, our cooperation has been based on trust, professionalism, and a shared goal of delivering a high-quality result. The completion of the structural shell represents an important milestone that moves the project into the next phase,” says Pavel Jelínek, Chief Engineer at AFI Czech Republic.
The project consists of four eight-storey buildings with shared underground garages offering 309 parking spaces, technical facilities, and storage units. Most apartments feature balconies, while ground-floor units include private gardens. Residents will benefit from a 24/7 reception desk and on-site property management services ensuring maintenance and minor repairs. Community life will be supported by a private landscaped courtyard with relaxation areas. As with other AFI Home projects, apartments will be partially or fully furnished with furniture and appliances, making moving in easier for future tenants.
“The growing demand for high-quality and affordable rental housing confirms that we are on the right path. AFI Home Nová Elektra is a natural continuation of our expansion in Prague, and we believe that thanks to modern layouts, furnished apartments, and in-house services, it will become an attractive option for a wide range of tenants,” comments Elena Pisotchi, Rental Housing Manager at AFI Czech Republic.
Nová Elektra is located in Hloubětín, a dynamically developing district with excellent transport accessibility and expanding civic amenities. Thanks to the proximity of a metro station, tram lines, and related infrastructure, the area offers strong potential and provides residents with convenient connections to both the city center and nearby nature.
AFI Group, listed on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TLV), specializes in commercial and residential real estate in Israel and Central and Eastern Europe (CEE).
